Windmill Fund

The Windmill Fund is the financial foundation for one of the Free Church’s SEVEN Critical Systems of a successful church planting movement. Here In the Midwest District we are excited as people begin to embrace the possibility of God doing a wonderful work through the new church planters and new congregations we are supporting.

As Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman at the well, He spoke of the “Gift of Living Water”. Then He went on to give His promise of “… a spring of water welling up to eternal life”. Just as the symbol of the old windmill represents life on the prairie in this part of the country, this new Windmill Fund will bring new life in growing the ministries of new church planting here in our district. Each day our planters are on the front lines of spiritual battle and they need you to prayerfully and financially continue to support them. As you do this may you be richly blessed.

The Windmill Fund in the Midwest District will be used to support new church plants in areas of training, education, assessment, advertising and other areas needed by our new churches. The major difference with this fund and others held by the district is that it will revolve, in other words, funds will be paid back to the Windmill Fund from income generated by the support-raising of the church planter or from income received by the church plant. The purpose is to have a fund to help in the start-up costs of a project so that funding issues do not hold back the progress.
